Dear Clifton-Fine Community,

Clifton-Fine Central School District utilized a Student Management System called POWERSCHOOL from July 1, 2005 to June 30, 2018.  The District has not used this system for over 6 years. However, recently we have learned that the Company POWERSCHOOL has had a cybersecurity breach and that some Clifton-Fine CSD data of students during that time frame was impacted.

PowerSchool and Experian (on behalf of PowerSchool) have begun distributing direct email notifications to involved individuals for whom they have sufficient contact information. The email notice will include further information about the information of yours involved and the resources PowerSchool is offering. Additionally, they have coordinated with Experian to set up a toll-free call center for families in case they have questions about these offerings: 833-918-9464.

Below, you will find your activation codes and enrollment details to begin using these services:

Option 1: If the Involved Individual is 18 or over:

Enrollment Instructions

• Visit the Experian IdentityWorks website to enroll: Enroll Now

• Provide your personal information and follow the prompts to complete enrollment.

• For over the phone assistance with enrollment or questions about the product, please contact Experian’s customer care team at 833-918-9464

• Be prepared to provide Engagement number:  B138812

• Experian’s call center hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am through 8:00pm Central Time (excluding major US holidays.)

Option 2: If the Involved Individual is under 18:

• Provide your personal information and follow the prompts to complete enrollment.

•  Experian’s call center hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am through 8:00pm Central Time (excluding major US holidays.)

These services include:

• Continuous credit monitoring from major credit bureaus for 2 years.

• Alerts for potential identity threats.

• Assistance in resolving fraud or identity theft issues.
