The academic leaders for the class of 2024 at Clifton-Fine Central School are Andrew Mathews, valedictorian, and Kylee Todd, salutatorian.

Mr. Mathews is the son of LeeAndrew and Mellisa Mathews, Oswegatchie.  He received the Clarkson Leadership Award, the University of Rochester Bausch & Lomb Honorary Science Award, the Student Sage Award, the Elmira College Key Award, the Wells College 21st Century Leadership Award, and the Keuka College George H. Ball Community Achievement Award.  Andrew proudly serves as a junior firefighter and the secretary for the Clifton-Fine Junior Fire Department.  He is a dedicated musician who has participated in NYSSMA, All-County Music Festival, Area All-State Music Festival, band, chorus, and school musicals.  Andrew has enjoyed being involved in Language Club (secretary), RPG club (game master), GSA (president), music club (treasurer), senior play, school fundraisers, and community service activities, such as Adopt-A-Highway.  In his spare time, Andrew likes to spin yarn, knit, and crochet.  He plans to study nursing at college in the fall.

Miss Todd is the daughter of James and Jenna Todd, Oswegatchie.  She was the recipient of the University of Rochester George Eastman Young Leaders Award, the Student Sage Award, the Elmira College Key Award, the Wells College 21st Century Leadership Award, and the Keuka College George H. Ball Community Achievement Award.  Kylee has also received several honors through Section X, including First Team All-Northern (volleyball) for both her junior and senior year seasons, and Athlete of Distinction (volleyball).  Kylee has enjoyed participating in several extracurricular activities, including National Honor Society, Student Council, varsity volleyball, club volleyball, varsity ice hockey, varsity cross country, varsity track, varsity golf, varsity softball, school musicals, band, chorus, Language Club (treasurer), senior play, school fundraisers, and community service activities, such as the Great Strides Walk for Cystic Fibrosis.  She has served as the president of the Class of 2024 throughout high school.  During summer vacation Kylee worked as a Recreation Attendant for the Clifton-Fine Youth Commission.  She plans to attend college in the fall where she will pursue a major in Art Education.
